As stated on the opening page, there are almost 200 locations set between Skagway down to Ketchikan and out to Sitka or Craig. The only area not covered was Dall Island near Prince of Wales Island and Cape Chacon. Why?
Well, the year that area was covered was also very windy with high seas. Add to that, the discouragement of so much recent clearcut activity, and I decided is was not worth jeapordizing the vessel or equipment just to say I was there, or take photos of an area not ready to be photographed.
Otherwise, I feel the 6,000 miles covered are very well represented here.
This is the actual size of the map you will use from the DVD, with controls to zoom in and out, pan around, and then click on a red dot to explore. That simple. ZOOM - CLICK - VIEW. Really.
On the live product - as you hover over one of the red dots, information will pop up including the name of the area.
Also, there will be more than one index provided. One will be an index by the name of the area. The other will be an index by island. How cool is that!
